Hi guys,
The hard drive on my spouse's 4 year old laptop (a Dell Latitude D800) just died. I want to replace it, but I'm pretty confused about which data interface to get. The laptop specs say it will accept "EIDE/ATA100". I'm assuming that any SATA drive would not be compatible. Unfortunately it seems most of the 2.5" drives on sale today are SATA. Would an ATA-6 drive, such as this work? What other interfaces are compatible?
Many thanks
