Hi I would like to use a 2.1 system from creative together with my Pro-Ject prebox ds2 digital excluding the creative volume control, is the connection described in the image correct? I would like to know what is the option to make a correct connection.

Looks fine to me (except of course the connection to the PC, it should go to the SPDIF input on the box, not the output)
Start with low gain on the box.

Yes this is true thanks I had not yet analyzed this aspect, so I think I will need to buy not the Pre Box DS2 Digital but the MaiA DS2 .

Wonder why you need an integrated amp if you plan to use a powered speaker.

Sorry I'm afraid I got confused, simply connect the optical cable to the output of the PC motherboard and connect the source to the optical input of the Pre Box DS2 Digital. It's correct?
