I'm looking to buy PC speakers in the range 2500-3000 INR.
 
My requirements are:
 
1. Clean and clear vocals as I'd mostly be watching movies and TV soaps, the overwhelming background noise and gunfire really pisses me off.

2. Decent but controllable bass, should be punchy but not overwhelming
3. Durability
 
Stuff I'm looking into :
 
1. Creative SBS A335 (good reviews, in budget)
2. F&D A521 (question about durability as per reviews)
3. Edifier M1380/M1386 (dunno the difference in quality between these)
4. Edifier C2 (amazing reviews, slightly above budget)
 
Which one do you think I should go for? ALso do you have any suggestions?

otherwise try looking for M3400 (Edifier) another good model to consider within ur price range...
 
For my case, I was trying to look for M3400 (but it was EOL) and ended up getting the C2+... awesome purchase... although it's quite a BIG setup compared to ur other M1380/M1386 (totally blow these away since I have auditioned these two as well)

The C2+ and M3400 isn't available in India.
 
How much of a sound quality difference is there between the M1380 and the Edifier C2, because the price difference is quite a lot.
 
Also my main interests are movies and acoustic songs so I'd need a clear sound with a decently crisp base.

Yeah coz u need a crisp base which is da reason I recommend c2+/hsc2330... My first two Edifier speakers were da old versions of m1380 price range... Both set didn't compared to my current set... Maybe u could try m3300... Da sound diff is a lot... Songs were less distorted on my c2+... I truly enjoyed my new speakers...
