hello everyone this is the 1st time i have posted a message but i read here everyday. i have learned quite a bit from here. i just bought a new pair of cans "sony 7506" yesterday and i let them burn in all night. so far i am very happy with them. i guess that makes me a member of team sony

is it just me, or did a lot of the people here got a pair of sony v6 to start with?

I started with Sony V300s years ago when I was a little kid....

Heh. I too started with a pair of V300. Nowadays, I can't stand them. I'm giving them to my younger sister. It'll be better than the crappy earbuds that came with her walkman. She had never heard a pair of "full-size" headphones before this christmas. I let her listen to Transport 4 (Max Graham) with my V6. "Wow, headphones are kewl", she said.

My V300s fell apart, starting with the band... the drivers are the only things I still have left of them..

Oh well. I can't stand them either, well atleast to my memory... Now I can't really handle my ex-70s much anymore, after using the V6's sometimes when I use the sound board

thanks rick. this place is addictive. i do like the sony sound. i also have a pair of senn 570s that ive had for a year. i guess a headphone amp is next.
