Just getting into the desktop tube amp setup here and looking for tube advice for rolling on my new Bravo Audio V2 amp. I know it's an entry amp so it probably doesn't make sense to spend a ton on tubes but I wanted a couple nicer mid-range ones to roll instead of the stock Chinese one that gets crap reviews.
My setup is: Macbook Pro > Schiit Modi DAC > Bravo Audio V2 > Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro (250 ohm) / Sennheiser HD600.
Mostly I listen to rock, heavily focused on 90's alternative (Foo Fighters/STP/Pearl Jam/etc.) but also plenty of classic 70/80's rock. Outside of that it's a mix of modern alt rock and the random catchy pop tune mixed in.
