also I must say I listened to the xp-7 alot at this meet. it really is a portable hr-2 by its sound. gosh I think the xp-7 is my new "dream amp" in some ways.
I thought of her all day at work.

Awesome impressions guys! I feel like I was almost there - especially since Daedalus has the same taste in gear as me lol! Darth Beyers- I'm glad they got some love, over in NYC I have to say we didn't get too many impressions on my pair. Same for the WNA amp - I'm glad it got some play over there (and it sounds positive!) I'm also happy to hear folks appreciating the MS-2 as a well balanced can (as far as Grados go) and i wish i still had my pair when the NYC meet was happening. BTW folks it was my impression that the HP-2 had even more bass than the HP-1, so honestly I'd be happy with either! But yea the PS-1 has SO much bass - yowza, right? Hmm what else. I agree that folks who love grados will love the modded DT770 - it hits a nice sweet spot as far as closed cans go. Oh, and the 0404 was there? Awesome that a soundcard got to make it to a meet - and not a portable usb one either! Modded eh? Mine is stock and I'm grooving on it, but in the future if i get bored it's good to know that mods will do the card good.

Sounds like you guys had fun, too bad you couldn't all drive over to BHD's place for some jacuzzi action! Although looking at the ratio of males there, perhaps it's for the best you didnt
