504 - More expensive = lot of buyers would tell you it's better.
Regardless if  a headphone is initially bashed,  you'd see lot of buyer lured by the price, and then explaining you that the headphone is great after all.
Only monster beats headphone doesn't seem to follow that pattern, but it change with the recent models.

505 -  If you want a really good Headphone, just wait for everyone to buy the newest version of it then buy the older one ie (k712 vs k702 or Lcd 2.2 vs LCD X)
