Thinking about upgrading from my Altec Lansing UHP336's to a ~$100 (US) IEM. I've got my sights set on Klipsch Custom 2's for $80, but I'm also seeing good things about the RE0. Would the Westone UM1's be any good? I've heard bad things about them, but I don't know how true they are. The UHP336's sound good to me, but I'd like something with more clarity/resolution, and a bit more bass (not boom, but real bass). A better fit would be nice too. I'd like to get something that will be a good step up from what I have now, but if none of the IEMs I mentioned will give me that step up, I'll just stick with what I've got.

See my sig for current setup. They'd be used mostly for classic rock and heavy metal, some old skool rap. Deep Purple, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Megadeth are some of my most played bands.

Thanks for reading. Unless there's a sale going on, I'm in no rush.
