K81DJ and HD25SP are probably the two bassy and closed headphones that are most recommended--but know that these two are BASSY.

If you are looking for a more, pleasant bass, you should aim at the eH150 at real cheap or the DT250-80 that is a bit above $100, but sounds very decent for its price.

HD25-SP sounds crappy, do not get them..they are very muddy and heavily blanketed sounding.

Now I noticed that you stated that you were looking for bass and that's what lead you to closed phones. You might also consider some supra-aural (open but still rest on ears) cans like the Grado SR-80s. I hear they have good bass and they are in your price-range.

SR80's + Kramer's BASSHEAD mod =

Find a dealer: http://www.equationaudio.com/Dealers/index.htm

or order from, say, FullCompass, or drop an email to don@audiosys.com (aka don hindenach, house of hindenach, authorized dealer in findlay ohio, good friend of mine)
