My rig is in my sig and I am looking for an amp to match. I had it decided on the supermini3 but now I realize that I don't have enough money to get one

What do you think would suit my rig the best for under $100. Is the PA2v2 the best bet?

I have not heard the PA2v2, but seems alot of folks like them.

If you are willing to consider used, the forums here have had some good deals on the likes of: Go-Vibe, PiMeta, Porta-Corda, and others both commercial and DIY/Builder-made. You can get alot of value that way.

Xenos 0HA-REP. $90 + shipping. I'd look no further

at $60 the P2AV2 is a good entry level amp. Should drive your cans (32 ohms) without problem. It is on the warm side though

I just received my Pocket Amp2 from Gary yesterday and can attest that he's a great guy to do business with and also builds a stellar product for $60.

I'm actually surprised to hear that the poster above me characterizes the sound as warm. If anything, it brightened up my staid Senn595 considerably as compared to my trusty NAD 7020e receiver. I'm getting in a Musical Fidelity XCANV3 in the next couple days, so i'm very interested to see how that stacks up.

Another alternative is the Little Dot Micro + from David for $59 USD

I loved my PA2V2 when I owned it. It's ~60 from an amazing (canadian) seller that will spend hours answering your questions even before you buy. Amazing guy, really. It sounds coloured but fun. Gives some "oomph" but also adds to the music.

There's also the LDM+ that is ~60 aswell. I hear it is more detailed than the PA2v2, which is nice. Transparent for a $60amp. Depends what you like I guess.

But either one you choose, be sure to spend the rest of the money to buy one of these babies:

How does it work with the Senns and with Grados? See, I'm kind of ina pinch for money, and am looking for something sensible for my HD555 and Alessandro MS1.
