If you don't mind kinda harsh and somewhat sibilant highs go for the old Sony MDR-EX300, very good sub bass, really gives you the feel, pretty good for that price, mids are decent also at 50-80$ but just beware if you are sensitive to highs, they are a bit out of control (depends what you are listening to, if you listen to a lot of techno music maybe you'd like to skip these due to those highs).

Sennheiser CX300 II are also with decent bass for the price (not as good and low sub bass as Sony but stronger punch) and they are 30-60$ depends if they are on sale. Also beware that cables on Sony EX300 are bad, but 2 year warranty so you can replace them, or get money back.

Won't comment on Beyerdynamic DTX101 iE (~90$) cos I haven't heard them but if they are any similar to DTX41 iE which I use for gym maybe you'd want to check reviews on those too, since this 40$ model has tons of bass.

Hi,

You should consider Yamaha EPH-100. Enhanced bass and also great sound quality all across the spectrum.

Best Luck!

if you find the CX300 good value, then you will find the Hifiman RE-400 even better. Over here in singapore, both the RE 400 and CX300 are the same price, and the RE 400 offers a ton more clarity and better controlled bass. The CX300 sounds dull, muddy and having uncontrolled bass compared to it

one of my audiophile classmates heard the CX890 (as around 2 times the price of CX300) and he said that even the CX890 could not keep up with the RE 400.
