In case anyone is looking for a really cheap way to stream occasional music to a nearby stereo, etc., the Griffin RocketFM is on sale for $10 today. It's basically a FM transmitter so don't expect wonders, but could be useful in some situations. More info here.

Looks kinda cool. But its a Discontinued product. And I dont really see how this is any different from the other FM transmitters you see for Ipods and mp3 players other than the USB power and software control panel. Both seem more like a hassle than an advantage IMHO.

These can be pretty cool if you have a really good tuner. I use a Sherwood tube tuner + FM transmitter. It definitely has some charm.
