Pick 10 songs from motion picture soundtracks that you really enjoy -- and from which you also enjoy the film. They can be original compositions for the film, songs from The Great American Songbook, classical music pieces, anything. Please name the movie, the performer/artist(s), and the song. This isn't a competition, so let's please not try to turn it into one.

1. A Star is Born - Judy Garland - The Man that Got Away
2. Goodfellas - Tony Bennett - Rags to Riches
3. West Side Story - Dance at the Gym
4. Desperado - Tito & Tarantula - Strange Face of Love
5. L.A. Confidential - Johnny Mercer - Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive
6. Buck Privates - The Andrews Sisters - Bounce Me Brother with A Solid Four
7. Apocalypse Now - The Doors - The End
8. When Harry Met Sally - Frank Sinatra - It Had to Be You
9. Tin Pan Alley - Alice Faye - America I Love You
10. The Sound of Music - Julie Andrews - My Favorite Things

Have fun with it...

Guys, please don't do this. I wanted this thread to be about memorable motion picture soundtrack tracks. If you are hankering to discuss soundtrack albums then please, start your own thread rather than take this one off topic.

Thank you.
