where can i get good adapters described in the title? anyone know?
1/4" to 1/8" and vice versa adapters

For 1/4 to 1/8 I would recommend the Grado cable adapter because it releases the miniplug from a lot of stress that would be caused by the weight of the 1/4 headphone plug. However, I have no idea by how much the sound quality is degraded by using this cable-adapter solution.

I made a grado like adpater....easy
buy a 1/4 jack, 1/8 plug, get about 6 inchs of cable (any kind)
then put it together...easy.
