I'm looking for a 1/4"to 1/8" adapter cable...any suggestions? Looking for something relatively cheap; the two I found so far are the ones made by Grado and Sennheiser. Any preferences?

Not sure how it stacks up with the Sennheiser and Grado cables, but it certainly is a bit cheaper.

I own both the Sennheiser one and Grado one, and they're both well built, so you can't go wrong with either one. I always go for the Grado one, but not really for any particular reason. 
 
For what it's worth, the Grado one guarantees no loss of quality with their adaptor. lol.

I've bought something similar to that; however, the issue with those is that once you plug that into your amp, then plug the connector into that adaptor, you end up with a really long plug, which is pretty heavy. I didn't feel very comfortable having something that heavy hanging off the little 3.5mm jack.

true, true.
Although having more wire, and another connection 15cm "down the line" might be annoying for some too

Thanks for all the responses guys. I went with the Sennheiser 1/4 to 1/8, and just got it in the mail today. It does what it was designed to do, no less no more.
