Only after i bought an 0404USB did I notice that there is no mini input. And now I can't use a mic with counter strike. I did find an adapter Neutrik NA3MJ 3-pin XLR Male to 1/4" Female Stereo Locking Jack, Wired | Full Compass
though, and I wanted to find out if this will work with a normal desktop mic.

The XLR jack on the 0404 is a combo jack. There's a 1/4" input in the middle of it. Just use a common 1/4" to mini converter.
