Hi everyone, now i have to make  a decision between six wires, and I am in dilemma.

I plan to upgrade my AMP to eddie current 2a3x4 or 445, the problem is that these two machine only have 4pin XLR output, so I have to choose the wire which has 4pin XLR.....

Personally, I prefer more smooth and transparent sound, like nordost and crystal audio.  I've already tried Cardas clear, and I don't like it because it is too worm and not transparent to me.

here are my six options:

1. nordost  4pin XLR

2.Siltech Duchess Crown

3. acoustic revive

4.ALO reference16 4pin  xlr

5.DHC Complement4 4PIN  XLR

6.DHC Molecule Extreme 18awg OCC 4pin  XLR

2 is too expensive for me, but if Siltech is much better than 1,3,4,5,6, I will consider buying it.

2 and 3 only have double 3 pin XLR, so it is inconvenient for me to use.... because i have to find a adapter, which may destruct the sound quality.

my friend told me that ALO reference 16 is just like Cardas clear, so I may not like it. Is that true??

what is the difference between 5 and 6?

suggestions please!

5 and 6 should be the same OCC copper, which is used in the
Complement3's Fusion silver/copper OCC litz wire, but why
Complement4 is much more expensive than Molecule Extreme?

I think you should add the Norne audio Draug 2 to your list. It is supposed to be a great match for the HD800.
I'm considering ordering one myself. It is also cheaper than the others and Trevor the owner of Norne audio is a great guy to do business with.

I have a 14ft Norne Vanquish.

You can have it configured to your needs (4-pin XLR).
Compared to others it's a good value for money (seeing your list of contenders, I guess that's not a major concern)... but more importantly I am absolutly happy with the HD800 sound.
