I have the brochure, will upload pics shortly.
Upgrade wise, it sounded better to me in terms of Soundstage and resolution. Now, was it 1000$ better? (as the rep told me it is going to be priced at 1599$)... I don't think so.
Please do take this with a grain of salt as I tried both #1 & #2 side by side with a dt770 for the first time yesterday in show conditions.

woah, opus 2 seems interesting
well, i was hoping i can wait for the Opus#2....but both "happy and sad" to say...
happy - first, the design is quite weird - too weird for me...i wouldn't be going anywhere near it...(but yeah, its the SQ that counts) - but still
sad - dual ES9018 DACs?! I can't wait to audition this - I just got the X7 and i'm really impressed on how Fiio utilized the 9018
happy - for $1599, that's way over my budget - i told myself that i can only go up to $750 tops for a dap
oh well, i guess i did the right call to purchase now than wait for the next gen daps...

yes, bit thats the same as opus#1. I want BOTH ports 1ohm or less.
2.5mm AND 3.5mm. Not just the balanced port.
(I can see how my earlier post could have been misread).
Both ports 1ohm or less, please

please forgive my useless pair of eyes...
though for me, really not sure about the choice of 9018K2M and the price is just eye-watering
maybe that was why I couldn't see the word 'both' in your post XD
