Don't think so...but to my surprise it sound quite nice pluged to an amp directly from headphones output. The X10 have line out and same dac...did not try it tough.

hum, i just press it and can download the HEX files....wich you just have to put on microsd and choose AUTO UPGRADE after. there another firmware (not tested but other do) here:https://cloud.mail.ru/public/EUd5/vSDVp8dnE

Hi, i gave up on updating the firmware as it sounds great as it is. I think volume issue is due to some problem with volume wheel. BTW thank you for the great review, without it i would have never came upon this hidden gem of a DAP.

How much does the X9 weigh? Isn't it gapless? Do you hear some clicking between songs or does it eat a few tenths of a second of the song after starting?
