Hello,
Thank you for this info.
Do you think when it is printed on the box supports "ISO formats" but not "IOS" that it will support M4a?
I might be way off base?
Sorry I am reading all I can but as have thousands of M4a files from old Ipod use, want a new DAP to support them as I slowly rerip my cds to Mp3 320 and, or lossless.
Is it always the case that brands will list M4a supported and if not will not work?
Thank you, RH
There is new firmware X3II V1.2 at official XDUOO pages: http://www.xduoo.com/xduoo/uploadfile/X3II_V1.2.rar
Change log:
Firmware updated contents:
1.Fixed the problem that it can not incomplete display the cover.
2.Add the function that it can auto-play when you start your car if you setting the X3II to Car_play Mode(Note: you need to set the "Breakpiont Play" to "Track" or "Location" in Music Setting)
3.Update the Language Library
4.Optimize system
Thank you for the great review. I am aiming this DAP to pair with the CCA C16 EIM.
It will be my first set in the mid fi head gear. I saw in the CCA C16 review that he is power hungry and will really wake up with a amp.
In other hands the xDuoo X3II have a good 210mW output power, unlike the 80mW that the majority DAPs offer.
Do you think that this could be a good pair ?
Hi, I started to make a theme for this player. You can see the first preview here: https://imgur.com/gallery/9pwt6np
I am still working on the logo that appears at boot. I think it is defined as logo.bin in the firmware but I have not figured out how to work with it. If you know, let me know. If you want the themes update file or info just reach out via pm!
Hi,
The player can be used as USB DAC. Nice.
If used as USB playback, can it streamthe files received from computer to Bluetooth directly ?
Thanks for your answer.
Regards.
Yes, it can.
First you must activate Bluetooth mode and pair your headset. Then you must activate the DAC mode of the X3II and connect it to the PC. This way, whatever you play on the PC will sound via Bluetooth.
I've never tried it before, but it works, at least when playing with Foobar2000 on my Windows7 PC.
