I bought these used to see if they would be a solution to the lack of bass with my Sennheiser HD 598's,although I did notice a little more punch,but the overall sound was not very appealing to me.I had read good reviews of the Pro 900's for bass,but I guess I got what I paid for.These were no where near as comfortable as the senns, and the highs verya little harsh for me.

Your PROline's may have been damaged for the treble to sound so harsh
