So the e44 is better even if I'm using only 3.5mm?

There's something I don't like about the sound of the E44 with the 3.5mm adapter.... I can't describe it, but the sound is not as good. If I have to use 3.5mm I use another dongle.

What is your recommendations?

My preference is if you don't need Tidal, you can use the Tempotec E35. If you still want dual output without Tidal I would use the Hidizs S9 Pro. I think any DAC with Tidal that I have tested is below the ones mentioned. And, I repeat, at the top is the E44 for balanced output.

@tendou: Sorry, but I just remembered that the Hidizs DH80s also supports MQA and has Single Ended and balanced 4.4mm outputs.

It's a great alternative, more expensive, but has battery and enough power, with 3 gain ranges.

Thanks! look nice with great features especialy 2 gain ranges. Out of my budget though. I don't really need mqa actually so usb c dac without mqa is ok
