Great review, it's useful to hear more than one review with consistent results. Both being from reviewers I trust to be objective about faults and synergies.
I feel the Sands are worth exploring if you own more than one source to use them on. They require some time to tinker with cables tips and sources but once that is achieved, they have a sound that is simply not achievable in the price range. They are closer to TOTL offerings in what they do. Hence they are most definitely unique in their price class. If you guys read @Redcarmoose review above. He figured them out but not everyone will. If any of you guys just dabble in audiophilia. I would pass on the Sands but for folks that are serious about their sound. The Sands will and does portray a sound that is unheard of. But you have to really dig into their make up to get there.
If any of you guys consider getting them. Get that PAC480 cable. While they don't match up in the way they look. They will provide something the stock cable does not. Worth the extra $30 to add onto the Sands for certain.
Random Sony camera. Takes good up close photos but only in good light so that got me to start taking photos outdoors. Been using that camera ever since. Its an older camera we had forever but does the job. Nothing special. Good lens on the camera though.
