yes this IEM is very very underrated IMHO. I'm glad to hear you like the review, what tips you are using for best comfort and seal?
 
I'm still wondering when or better "if" the new revision of SR-002 and SRM-002 will take place and how it will be sound compared to the original SR-002 unit.
 

Thanks for your review.   I had these for a while, and eventually sold them.  I am afraid that I am spoiled by my home rig: SR009 + BHSE, and I was hoping for a similar signature for travel.  Due to my ear anatomy, I was unable to keep the SRS002s in my ears without the headband.  The fit was never right for good isolation, and became rather painful for me after a while.  This lack of fit probably had a lot to do with my eventually selling the SR002 system.  Since I love the electrostatic presentation, I will probably investigate the uber expensive Shure KSE1500s next.

thanks for your reply. If Stax release this year the new revision of the SR-002 I would gave them again a shot, because the nozzle and tip size will be nicely improved, looks like a regular universal IEM size to me: http://www.head-fi.org/t/631894/stax-sr-002-srm-002-and-srm-003-mk2-srm-003-impression-and-appreciation-thread/465#post_12238152
