I agree with your assessment of these...Not only do they sound great for music but I honestly think they are the best GAMING cans...Overlooked GEM imo.

Indeed, they are a tremendous gaming can, and easily the best I've tried to game with. Imo they provide the best of both worlds of gaming bliss: The "fun", bass and rumble side for a cinematic experience, and the accurate, transparent one for serious competitive gaming. As a fomer competitive Counter Strike player, I very much value the ability to position enemies well, and these babies are exceedingly good at that while still providing fun bass. That their soundstage, though wide, isn't humongous is actually a positive for them when it comes to gaming; a small soundstage makes it hard separate noises from each other, and one too large, except in really high end stuff, make the imaging and accuracy of positioning blurry.

I payed $38 for these!??..Stunning music clarity and detail with good solid bass.. They do need a serious burn in. I think I am half way through but from even after 80hrs they are starting to smooth out especially in the highs. Ample amount of sound stage! Better than most I have used actually. Damn is all I can say about these.!.. Listening to Deadmau5 with these= Perfection...
Gaming precision.. I immediately could tell the positioning of sound was pin point and sounded more realistic than over my Audio Technica AD700s. EVERY single one of you guys n gals that consider yourselves s a lover of music and or games.. These should be in your collection..Ya I am no slouch in the Gaming arena. =SOC= Cr3m I represent.. BFBC2! Look up our =SOC= servers if you play... Quickly becoming one of my faves.! Truely a great sounding dynamic phone on the cheap.
