Sound Blaster GC7

Headphones and Coffee

Previously known as Wretched Stare
Works great for games
Pros: Sounds clear and detailed, a large number of controllers, IO and features
Cons: Needs a 6.35 or 4.4mm balanced plug for headphones. USB-C in and power would have been a good touch

The box is adequately sized just about fitting the unit and cables. It has some needed specs and information on the back.
Inside is the cables needed and a quick start and full documentation.
It's very easy to use as its plug and play unless you're using the software, that is pretty decent from what I tried. but mostly I used it plug-n-play.
The GC7 had more than adequate power to run even my planar headphones but the 3.5mm is a little inconvenient. The chipset in this is very good, it's not a reference class setup for audiophiles but more for the gamer music lover and just average person looking to up their audio game and for this it's great.

The sound is very clean it's not pitch black but still far better than on board audio. It presents with a neutral / balanced signature with good Bass ,Mids and Treble response. Soundstage is wide and accurate. the center control can customize Bass, Treble and the amount of surround to impressive results from -9 to +9.

It compatible with Computers, Game systems and even phones and smart TVs. I would recommend this if you're looking for something to make your gaming audio better and have more control.
