So just to be clear...have you burned this in, or just received them? I just got them, and it has been pretty well documented that they need to be worked-in properly. So far mine sound pretty awesome, but I foresee them evening out a bit. Bass could tighten up, and treble is slightly recessed. I have read a few reviews now that this headphone needs some decent current, and that the treble becomes more prominent as volume is increased a bit more than average headphones. Thanks for sharing your impressions!

Yes I made sure to burn them in.

When i first got mine I have to admit I wasn't too sure if it was going to be a keeper or not. I have now  used it for more 100 hours and now it sounds like what i expected. It's definitely one of the most comfortable headphones ever and the sound now using my Hugo is very, very good. I use it mainly for going to work and back. The isolation is very good and the leakage is not bad.

I'll say it's worth the price.

I think you should compare the x2 to the sony z7. Why- because they both use the same type of driver and because the x2 is said to best the hd600, whereas the z7 is said to only match it in overall sound quality.

I'm glad you enjoy yours, Beemarman!

Grizzlybeast, I don't feel like that would be a great comparison given one is more of a closed headphone even if it's more accurately a semi-open headphone but hell I'll probably briefly mention the Z7 against the X2 :D

i wont say the isolation is "v good"....outside noise bothered me a fair bit.. find myself turning up the vol to get a bite into the treble. Maybe i am not supposed to get a bite  :)

someone said this is more a "home-use closed can"..true?

Yea I'd agree with that Lorspeaker.  I would travel with them but I wouldn't use them during travel.
Hi 5
Hi 5
Thanks for the review!

I'm eager to see your X2 review.

Should I upgrade to the Z7 or wait for your review of the X2?

Hi 5,

It's hard to directly compare both as one is closed and the other open.  All I can say is that I enjoyed the X2 much more when considering price to performance.
