New Head-Fier
Pros: Extremely accurate surround system, good ammounts of bass, smooth mids
Cons: Harsh highs, not good for music, heavy and unconfortable. Not portable at all.
"An awesome headset for gaming, but for gaming only" would be an accurate one-line resume of this headphone.

The strategically positioned eight drivers create an extremely realistic and accurate surround ambient, without the use of any low quality effects or gimmicks.

The bass is nice, the vibration can be controlled and turned off, the mids are smooth and nice and the highs are not half-bad.

The audio controller is quite nice to use, although it should have it's own master volume knob, instead of using Window's volume knob (which on most games takes a 20 seconds interval to do any change to the volume).

The microphone's detachable, but I thought it'd have been better at this price tag. It's not bad, but it's not "one of the best" as it should be.

The problem, lies within the price (US$ 93), the ridiculous weight (500 grams for the headphones and 150 grams for the controller) and the uncomfortable "pads" on top of it. It's a headphone you have to "get used to", and not something you'll enjoy out-of-the-box.
