Excellent review, I went to listen to these after reading this and the headphones are superb. Not sure how I feel about carrying around a separate amp though, that part is a deal breaker for me.

Please, anyone know how long to charge the battery for first time?

Yeah but they say with Li-Ion batteries to charge them a long time first time. Like a laptop battery charge for 24 hours first time. Then the Chord Mojo said ten hours.

How do you find these compare to the Stax 002? I have that set and really do love them, but admittedly they are harsh in poorly-mastered songs and not so great with modern genres.
