Wow, better than a k812? How so and why?

The K812 is a flop. It has very tizzy transients, high distortion in the bass and lower treble, and significant ringing. 
 
That being said the HD580 is almost identical to the HD600 and I know that thing didn't sound very good. It also wasn't easy to drive. At all.
