*A Sample of the HD7 was provided by PreSounus for my unbiased review*

The PreSonus HD7 is a great all around headphone and let me tell you why.
Comfort:
With the clever system that automatically expands the headband to the size of your head as you put it on.
Pads can feel on the cheap side, but I have provided a simple fix for that after the review below.

Build:
Plastic. It is all plastic. Also, EXTREMELY flexible! Look at this picture below! Nuts! Goes right back into shape, like nothing even happened.

Looks:
They are not pretty. Though some could say they are Fun and Retro. All I know, is my wife started laughing hysterically when I put them on. Sexy.

Accessories:
It has a bag you can carry it in and an adapter. Yep.

Sound:
Natural, warm, and controlled. Great words to describe the first time I heard them and continue to be as time goes on.
They can get a tad bright from time to time, depending on what you are listening to. Bass is big and deep, but does not bleed into the mids.
Mids themselves are neither forward or recessed. Just where they should be I guess. Overall presentation is of clarity and simplicity.

Overall:
I very much enjoy the PreSonus HD7. The HD7 is an easy headphone to recommend for the price.
It won't hurt the wallet and it will make the ears feel ooohhh so good.

**Extra Extra!! Read all about it!**
As mentioned in comfort section. There is an easy solution to the earpads issue. Just get replacements. For a mere $7ish USD, you can get
Velvet Replacement Earpads: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KLPRQMO
They will make the HD7 even MORE comfortable! Small issue for some as they will also tame down the bass slightly.
So if you don't want to lose any of your lows, this is not for you.
Here they are side by side with the stock pads:

And you can see the velvet ones seem to be just slightly smaller. Which I will admit, makes them a pain in the ass to put on the HD7.
These are not pads you will want to switch back and forth with stock.
Once on, the velvet feels wonderful on the ears. Makes using them for extended periods a breeze.
Plus, they kinda look cool.

Thanks for reading.... looking.... or whatever.
