Great review thanks for taking the time to write it.  Your conclusion is exactly how I feel.  The good news is after a year of owning the K-10 custom I still feel this way.  In fact, last month I bought the Universal LE to use when not flying.

Excellent review,Obsidyen.
I've been thinking of getting one of the universal Nobles & this might be the ,I choose.
Good Luck with them, and use/listen to them,in good health.

Great read and descriptions, well done. I like your info about your preferences at the beginning, and I must say I agree with those tastes. I dislike elevated high frequencies because it gives most people the misconception of clarity.

Great review. I have tried K10U acrylic & aluminium. I preferred the acrylic, had better comfort & treble was smoother.

Ear anatomies are different, so YMMV

Im surprised you say that these are quite easy to drive. Usually with IEM regardless of its ohms, its always sounds more fuller and to its full potential with stack of some sort. Dont think it sounds rather flat outta a phone or similar?

these are indeed very easy to drive - completely surprising with their 10 drivers. Yes they do sound better with a good amp but they already sound pretty amazing from a phone or DAP.

Thanks for the positive comments. :) These are easy drive, meaning a phone with good output (iPhone 6s, HTC M10 etc.) is enough to drive these nicely. However, K10U scales with better gear, it sounds better with Chord Mojo compared to iPhone 6s' headphone jack.

I was trying out the adel 12 drives are so bad with phone. perfect with mojo so thinking it would be similar with k10 and 10 drivers.

@wshinji  which phone? I can assure you the 64 Ears U!2 sounded very good and are equally easy to drive from an iPhone6, ask @punit he has them and they are equally easy to drive. Again, they do definitively sound better with a good amp or DAP but they already sound damn good from a phone at least mine.
