Read reviews all over the net about Drew's headphone hacks and even saw him in action on You Tube. After reading reviews about the T5P's headphone wire build issues, (wires are flimsy) I decided I wanted him to hack the phones (w/Sennheiser HD 800 connectors/Black Dragon V2 cable) so they'd be detachable.
His work is amazing and an essential upgrade to the T5P's.
Their sound was initially crisp, clear, rather piercing in the high end and lacking bass in the low end. Now they still sound crisp but well-rounded with a smoother high end and a more pronounced bass.
The Black Dragon headphone V2 cable is a superior upgrade and I would definitely recommend it!

Note:$485 price reflects the work done to convert the Beyerdynamic T5p plus price of the cable!
