I used this a a record cleaning machine... it served me well through college and frankly, was "good enough". I got pretty amazing results mounting the turntable on a shelf bolted to a frame that free floated off the wall studs which enabled me to play "The Gates of Dafos" off the Reference recordings Dafos album without any feedback of any kind despite having 2 Entec SW-1's with 6 servo controlled 10" woofers and 500 watts and another 12 8" woofers from the Infinity RS1 speaker system in a room 15 x 18 at clipping with 2 Brystons 4bs powering it .
The turn table did three dimensional depth very well and it was sort of easy to adjust VTA - and you could ..if gentle do it on the fly (though of course tracking errorswill suffer while you adjust ).
