Wondrously detailed review as usual, Hero! I have and love the Aful Cantor. Considering that, would this be different enough to please. Also, would you be getting your hands on the Just launched Symphonium Giant iem? It's thier take on warmish yet detailed , apparently. Pretty intrigued by it as I feel, irrationally at this stage without proper reviews, that it could be the complimentary set to my Cantor. Was thinking of Aether but now wondering if I can hold, save up for the Giant (700$) instead.

@Singaravelan that was a nice thing to say, thank you for that. As far as the Aether being a good contrasting set to the Cantor I'd say that in some ways yes and other ways maybe not enough of a difference. I realize that is not an answer or even a well formulated opinion but there are some similarities as well as some differences between the two. That said, definitely the Aether has a more palpable and deep bass region which will certainly serve as at least a mild difference. Deeper sub-level bass, more mid-bass slam. Yet both sets offer a very tidy, punchy bass too. Both have a nice balance across the mix as well. Both sets have that sparkly treble which doesn't really overwhelm the mix. However, I gotta say, for their respective price points they are both phenomenal iems. Sorry if this didn't help you at all. Perhaps when I have a moment I will do a side-by-side with the Aether and the Cantor.

@Singaravelan about the Giant, I heard some rumblings of a tour unit which will be making it's way to my side of the globe. I am extremely curious about it and would love to listen. Hopefully soon.
