Jabra HALO Bluetooth Stereo Headset - Retail Packaging

New Head-Fier
Pros: wireless, build quality, comfortable, design.
Cons: veiled, dull, lacks bass, unengaging sound.
I bought these about 4 years ago, and I've been using them on and off ever since, alternating between my portapro's and ksc75's.
Obviously both koss headphones sound far superior to the veiled uninspiring sound of the halo. But I keep coming back to the halo. And here is why.
The sound may be veiled and uninspired, but it isn't horrible either. It makes for a good background headphone, while I read some head-fi articles during my commute. The music is just there. It's not engaging, but it isn't bothering me either.
I use them on my commute (train or bicycle) or when I want to hear something on the tablet or phone while someone is watching tv,... .
They just are so very practical. No wires to get in your way, tug under your sweather, untangle or become broken. They are so comfortable and light (the ksc's either fall off or grip my ears so thight they are on fire in about 20 minutes).
And yet, every time I get my good cans out, I'm amazed how much superior they sound.

I would recommend the halo for someone who wants/needs a headphone for any occasion where practicality and comfort are more vital as sound quality.
