Design & Build Quality:


The Final VR3000 is made of AVS plastic and the IEM design hollows that of their flagship A series A8000. The IEMS are quite lightweith and doesn't put too much with on your ears.

The corners of the IEMS are a bit sharper and may hurt ears after continued wearing. The cable on the other hand is fixed... But not a great cable though. It comes with a built-in microphones which is a necessity for gaming.

Source of Sound & DAC/AMP:

The iBasso DX-160 had been used mostly. Other than that, the iPhone 12 Pro coupled with IFI HIPDAC and IKKO ZERDA ITM03 Dongle also used.




The Sound:

Bass

The bass is adequate in amount. There is auriness and the bass is fast enough.
The sub-bass is clear and deep and helps to produce a deep surround feel


Mids

The midrange takes on a more laid-back manner with reduced presence. It Has good details but due to the v shaped nature it is a bit laid bck. Both Male & female vocals sound clear with richness & details.

Highs

The treble is Where this could be a bit better. Though the overall treble is ok and has enough details, in some cases the treble becomes a bit too loud.

Soundstage

The soundstage is the key attraction here and is amazingly big & deep. It gives a true surround feel and movies just sound awesome.

Timbre

Each instrument can be identified in terms of their location and clearly distinguished. The directional sound is awesome also.

Conclusion :

As this is an unique type of IEM there can be no direct comparisons.

Final has really hit the jackpot for gamers with this IEM and this can rival many similar gaming headphones easily.

For Movies this provides the unique surround experience that is rsreky found in IEMs.

As far as music is concerned this will be preferred IEM got many specially for live tracks and any track that has a good soundstage.

People who prefer intimate music experience may not like it much.

This is a one of its kind IEM by Final and they should take the inputs carefully k. This and improve further in the next iteration.
