I have been comparing this with SP1000 (without amp for sensitive IEMs and with SP1000 amp for headphones) for 2 weeks now and I am always amazed how M15 is much more effortless on bringing forward all the sound. I have never heard the other instruments in the music background that is not really apparent in SP1000.

And I just cannot accept the fact that I bought the SP1000 almost 3X the price! I have been in denial that in no way that this cheaper DAP from Fiio is better during my first week of listen, since I am biased in favor of A&K players (I love A&K still). But I just thought what if the sound profiles of these 2 players interchange, meaning that if the sound output of SP1000 and M15 are switched - which sound profile will I choose? Ultimately, I will choose the sound coming from M15.
