Will the setting you adjust in the Android app be saved to the unit itself and apply to use on Windows?

Thanks for the great review! I am looking at this unit, and it seems to be getting great reviews from everyone.

The cons are what I want to say, lol. Especially the volume buttons, without which I would rather use my BTR5 as a dongle. And the bass switch, I love it, but it didn't present on the KA3. Wish it would be adopted on the next generation of the KA3 (maybe it'll be called KA3s, KA3 2022, KA5 or something similar haha).

It is surprising how good this little thing sounds most definitely punches above in SQ alone. As per settings in windows I am not sure if settings in android is applied when using on windows. It should go back to default settings unless Fiio has a driver made specifically for the KA3. When plugged into windows. It becomes a little sound card out of the laptop by default with no need for drivers. I would ask in the KA3 thread. I bet a Fiio rep can answer that.
