The tubes are there to do the actual amplification. The opamp is for the buffer stage. LM4562 will sound very clean and airy, though it also means the hiss and microphonics will be more audible. I don't have an UHA-6S MK2 to tell you anything about it. But I do have an UHA-4 and I think they are very comparable SQ wise. UHA-4 will have more overall power though. The tube used in the TU-HP01 will not get warm, and doesn't need to get warm to function. It is designed this way.
