Did you still have the DN-1000 laying around ? If so then please try them with these foam filled hybrid silicone tips that came with the 2000J and tell me your opinion - imho the bass is slight reduced while mids and voices (females in particular) also the detail level of the music is improved
@BloodyPenguin, @Hisoundfi, @DUNU-Topsound, Thank you! @sm0rf, thanks for the suggestion! Yes I still have all the 3 DUNU hybrid, and once I found the DN-2KJ foam filled eartips, I will surely give it a try.
Nice review, I agree with all you have said except.... My silicone eartips have never come off with out my intention, the fitting fins or whatever they are called are a different story, they fall off all the time!
@Pictograms do you use the DNK ring? I use red DNK ring that cause the Silicone eartip has less grip area to the nozzle. I guess without red DNK ring, there is sufficient grip for the silicone eartip.
Hi @Arsalan, sorry for late reply as I just saw your message. Both DN-2000J and IE 800 have very different sound signature. If you're a recording engineer, or listen mostly to binaural recordings and classical, probably DN-2000J is preferable. But if you listen mostly to modern genres, Pop, Jazz, etc, I would prefer the IE 800. Hope that helps.
