Thank you for the review. I'm a Denon fanboy, or should I say Fostex fanboy? :) Doubt I'll ever get these. I think my D7000 is a far better headphone, and would rather get a pair of TH900 when the opportunity presents itself.

"At half price and Not a cent more"...lol... your review has pegged the sweetspot price of usd600 for us all...
even though when i first heard it, i would venture to consider usd700-800 for the added bass n percieved clarity.
i am not complaining..now to wait patiently for market forces to tame the price...rubbing my hands...:p
Inspite of the "-" reviews, there is a certain fancy i had taken for this can.

Thanks for the review. I was thinking of picking these up, but from the forums, went for the much cheaper D600 instead, caught that pair on sale so the price was a third of the cost of the D7100. You do seem catch most if not all of the complaints I have read about the D7100's but also its fascination. I can see why some people would be quite happy with these if they enjoy that type of V-shaped frequency response that you heard.
The review was very helpful.

If price was slashed in half I'd get a pair too. I love Sony MDR-XB700, hence these will probably be to my liking. Shame that they look to futuristic for my taste.

Nice review!
If you hadn't mentioned that English wasn't your primary language I wouldn't have noticed.

Very solid review for sure.
It's too bad they don't clamp... Would have like to see a competitor to the T5p, Ed8 and Sigpro

Still don't know what Denon was thinking when they designed these and made it into production...a complete downgrade to the already bad D2/5/7k range.

@olegausany But I heard these won't satisfy despite many reviewers complaining from having way too much bass.
