Dunu scheduled to release their first over-ear headphone Arashi in December 2023, but I learned from Dunu's technicians at Shanghai International Headphone Exhibition (March 30-31, 2024) that it is now expected to be released around May this year. The sound from the pre-production model of Arashi at that Exhibition left me a good impression.

~$1405 USD. Looks like it's finally being released at CanJam this weekend :)

500g weight, I think Jude said in the CJ preview video.

I saw this headphones displayed at Fujiya Avic(Japan) 3 months ago, but never heard about anything since then.
So I've messaged them 2 weeks ago, and they told me that the release date has not been decided yet.

I'm not sure why the release date is getting delayed. Maybe for a slight enhancement?

No, it's already been released in some countries.

Ill try them at CANJAM this weekend because the extended sub bass is very enticing. Might be getting them over the NOIRE X

I tried it today for an hour.

Its the most comfortable headphone. The mids are clear and sub bass is deep as can possibly be. They clearly and i mean clearly beat the Dan Clark Noire X, Hifiman Arya, Audeze MM-500 and ZMF Bokeh Open. Its just not a competition. Maybe the ZMF Bokeh is a closed second but its not as comfortable as the Arashi.

I just cant get over this headphone for this price. Dont listen to people who have not tried the final version

I bought a pair today. Going to give them a lot of class A desktop power.

Just got this in yesterday, listening now on all my amps and... I must say, not much sounds "different" to me after all of the headphones I've heard at this point, but this headphone is pretty awesome and sounds unlike anything I've heard. Listening on my Envy right now and it's stellar (sounds great on non $9k amps though, too, ha!). Something uniquely magical is happening in the midrange and the bass is so punchy yet clean and extended. Thanks for the rec, @benjifx19

Not a single headphone including the Abyss 1266 phi tc can do what these can do. Think 3 dimensional sound its coming from literally everywhere. Its separating the instruments like nothing ive heard. I don't know how they were possibly able to do this

Does this come with XLR connectors? With it being 26 ohm (think I read that) an easy drive but wonder how they would sound from speaker taps............
