CLeer audio Roam sport

Headphones and Coffee

Previously known as Wretched Stare
Good for active and on the go lifestyles
Pros: IPX4, comfort, aptX adaptive, sounds balanced and great features with the app.
Cons: ANC is good but not the best I've used, comfort and isolation will vary especially with the wings on.

The packaging is well documented and looks premium, inside the Roam sport, charging cable, wings and tips are included.

These look like the original Ally, I had some years ago, loved those and I'm glad these are a major update with some great new tech and features.

Right Cleer Ally OG and Left Cleer Roam Sport.

The comfort is excellent I only had a small issue with the wings preventing a tight seal, I just changed the size and was fine. the ANC was customizable and worked well but wasn't the most powerful, the Ally plus 2 seemed a little more powerful but this ones ANC is far from bad with 25dB of environmental noise canceling. I love the app and how you can customize sound as well as noise canceling.
Call quality on my end was good but a few people said they couldn't hear me in noisy environments.

Let's get to the features and sound.

The Roam Sport is $99 and has IPX4 making it great for outdoors and gym use.
Bluetooth Version 5.2 with support for Audio Formats MP3, SBC, aptX Adaptive allow a seamless connection.
Battery Life Up to 5hrs per earbud, up to 15 more with charging case.

Sound wise they are balanced as a default with a mild lift in the Bass this of course can be adjusted via the preset EQ in the app POP, ROCK, FLAT, ETC. Bass, Mids and Highs presented well balanced and clear with decent soundstage for a TWS and good details for a Bluetooth device.

Afterthoughts: This is a good budget offering for active people and should provide a good experience for that purpose.
