Greetings Ichos, try. Different cable, there are some very good ones out there. Search this thread and get more info. The Sound is just short of spectacular, enjoying the heck out of mine with a MacBook 12"...and waiting for the new cable. Enjoy the Music!

Efharisto for review. About hiss with solaris 2020 that is famous about this point i had no hiss. For emi sometimes. I tried various cables but without success. But i had problems i think when phone changes for ecample from 4g to wifi. Usually i have no problems

Background noise without 4g is very faint and not always present.
I guess that it depends on the power supply of the host device.
I will edit it in the review so people don't get it wrong.

I know that some cables may work better but in the review I have to focus on the stock cable that people get with the RU6.

Hi Ichos, I use the RU6 from S10 Note+, Asus ROG3 and a Sony. I listen to storage but also stream from Youtube and Tidal and I have no hiss and never had.

I don't know, maybe it is with my specific unit or phone.

I have experienced two differences from your review: the RU6 will draw 20-25% per hour from my iPhone 13 Pro (using SeeAudio Bravery in SE or Penon Serial in “balanced”). I have had not one smidgen of EMI with the RU6 and Cayin’s USB-C to lightning cable.

What the heck, am I the only one with EMI issues?
I have noticed that another reviewer has reported some EMI interference.
I have also been following the thread and I know that a few other users have been experiencing interference issues.

Regarding power consumption I have done a measurement with a cheapo USB meter so I don't know if it is reliable.

No. Emi issue exists. But honestly i don't understand when. For example in the last days i had no problems. Last week everyday with interference

Anyway we shouldn't limit the RU6 to mobile use.
It is so good sounding that I believe that most people are going to buy it for home use.

Any chance you have compared it with W2 or Go Blu? In terms of sound.
