A stand-alone D/A converter that has an AES/EBU XLR input, two coaxial S/PDIF inputs (one RCA, one BNC), TosLink input, and USB (simple 44.1/16). Outputs unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR stereo. Volume selection: preamp capabilities. All this in small footprint, stackable size. About $2500 new, $1500 used.
