QDC Uranus

They have a very unique shell, but since how they look doesn't matter too much while in your ear this is more preference and I appreciate having what I would consider the best looking QDC iem's and one of the best looking iem's i've ever seen in my possession and get lost in the stars from time to time.

What's most important is how they are while in your ears and i'll vaguely go over some of the characteristics, sound signature and who might enjoy these best.

Sound

Lows: Good punch with decent rumble, doesn't get as deep in the sub-bass as I would prefer but still has presence. Quick attack and decay while maintaining excellent timbre.

Mids: The weak point of these iem's, they are recessed but not overly, would consider them closer to a U-shape than V as their dip isn't as significant as they have decent body, vocals are vaguely back but clear and concise.

Highs: The strongest aspect and a beautiful presentation of treble.(on my set) You get an airy sense of space when it comes to the highs with decent extension. Does not easily enter sibilant territory even though the highs are more forward but it can come close on some tracks.

Signature:
V/U with decent mid-range presence, boosted bass, but more emphasized highs.

Soundstage:
More depth than width, the layering is good and doesn't feel clustered even on tracks I would consider complex

Imaging: You're able to discern positional queues and get a solid image of placement and where everything is. Has a good amount of energy but doesn't get fatiguing, have been able to leave them in for hours without driver flex or feeling I must take a break to refresh my ears.

Accessories

The packaging, tips and case are phenomenal, I wouldn't have expected the case to be this quality with an iem in this price range but they speak for themselves

Final Vague Thought

Fit is perfect for me, can be driven from phone and basic usb dac easily.

They aren't extremely bright but on the brighter side with it's upper treble but has a good warmth and overall body to them. I would consider them great all-rounders with U/V emphasis without a single distinguishing style to categorize them as besides a solid U/V with great detail in the treble. I don't listen to vocals often, but when I hear vocals they sound warm and close but not very invasive.

If you're looking for good bass but not basshead level with airy highs you can purchase them here https://hifigo.com/products/qdc-uranus-hybrid-1dd-1ba-iem-in-ear-monitors-earphones
I don't have many iem's to compare or the experience of hearing 100's of iem's but these are
exactly what I was looking for after letting my Hyla te-5b's go to another headfier.
