New Head-Fier
Pros: sound quality, looks
Cons: build quality
These are pretty nice portables, but not for use on anything but computers and portable players. The S-Logic sound takes a little getting used to until they're burned in, after that they're just fine. They can sound artificial though, and I 'm glad I didn't pay any more for these (they MSRP'd at $100).

They've taken a hit in reviews for build quality, due to the cable connection, I can verify this. However, Ultrasone has 5 YEAR warranty on this product, so I simply sent it back and got repaired with a better connection than I originally received it.

Ultrasone has discontinued this model. If you were looking for an open-back on the ear portable at the time I was, I think this was the pair to get -- now I'm not so sure.

New Head-Fier
Pros: sound quality at this price range
Cons: build quality
These were a great little portable, folding over-the-ear headset I had and loved for a long time, with an inline volume control. Until one day when I folder them up, and got a whiplash effect somehow, breaking the headband in half. Not good.

New Head-Fier
Pros: none
Cons: basic phones
These are basic, generic, all-purpose phones, nothing special but they work.

Pros: packaging
Cons: sound quality, build quality
I was extremely disappointed with these, thinking they'd sound much better than they do. They sounded, weak, thin, and tinny, with no bass. After reading some reviews here and elsewhere I can't believe the rating they get compared with what I got -- so I'm wondering if I got a bad pair. But it's way too late to return them now.
