Try tip rolling a bit it does help with the bass presence, I have had my for a month or so and find it to be a fantastic IEM, and agreed with almost everything in your review in regards to the s-em6 and the af1120. The 1120 to me though isnt rolled off at all, but just has a slight smoothness that takes away from any glare, mostly because any detail and presence I normally hear in the treble range is there with the 1120. With the right tips I definitely feel a little more bass presence from the 1120, which could be better seal or just materials used.
