Great review. I don't have anything to add, other than I also really like the Quadbeat tips with these. If you can get your hands on some Auvio tips, those make them sound pretty amazing too.
Great Review Peter! I really like the comparison section as I feel I have a pretty good feel for the CKR9s now. I was under the impression that they are bright analytical iems but I am happy to see that I am wrong!
@RedJohn456 They're insanely detailed and crisp in the high mids and treble, and can be prone to fatigue with the stock tips, but tip rolling irons that problem right out. I can listen just fine with no fatigue using some wider tips. I think the narrower stock tips focus the upper mids and treble a bit too much, making some people hear them as bright.
Thanks for the support guys, I really appreciate it!
@ozkan since they're a pretty shallow fit the choice of tips really has an impact on the isolation but with the same tips I'd say that isolation on the two is pretty similar.
@RedJohn456 the Geek is fixed @ZapX629 is spot on in his description and also regarding the choice of tips.
@smith I got my pair from Asia but I also believe that Thomann is the best place to get them in Europe. I've bought other stuff from them in the past and have never experienced any trouble with them.
